Pricing
The central commercial record. Summit Designs, Summit Furniture and customer quotes all price through here, and Summit Web App consumes these as the source of price. A Price ID does not need a Product — Custom Made, Consignment, Third Party and Services are priced directly against their Collection.
VAT rate
One authoritative rate, shared with Procurement. The basis (markup vs total vs none) is set per Collection on the Collections page.
Mint a Price ID
Assign an existing Price ID
Reuse a Price ID across several variants with identical commercial pricing (e.g. the same chair in three colours) — never mints a second record for the same price.
No unpriced products right now — every product already has a current Price ID.

Unit price, VAT and final price are calculated from BOM cost ÷ BOM quantity (or the entered unit cost), the markup, and the Collection's VAT basis. None of them is stored, so nothing can contradict the calculation.
